Dosage & Administration

  • Children 3 to 7 years: ½ effervescent tablet daily
  • Adults & children above 7 years: 1 effervescent tablet daily
  • Dissolve 1 tablet in a glass of water before consumption

Interaction

Contraindications

  • Hypercalcemia (e.g. in hyperparathyroidism, vitamin-D overdosage)

  • Larger doses may lead to gastrointestinal tract upset

  • Caution in patients with severely impaired renal function due to potential increase in aluminium absorption
  • Consideration of sugar content by diabetic patients
