Composition

  • 600 mg elemental Calcium (as Calcium Carbonate BP)
  • 200 IU Vitamin D3 BP (as Cholecalciferol)
  • 40 mg Magnesium (as Magnesium Oxide BP)
  • 1.8 mg Manganese (as Manganese Sulfate Monohydrate BP)
  • 1 mg Copper (as Cupric Oxide)
  • 250 mcg Boron (as Boron Citrate)
  • 7.5 mg Zinc (as Zinc Oxide BP)

Dosage & Administration

Side Effects

  • Rare occurrence of mild gastrointestinal disturbances with calcium supplements
  • Occasional reports of skin rash with vitamin-D3 supplements
  • Long-term treatment may lead to hypercalciuria and rare cases of hypercalcaemia

Pregnancy & Lactation

  • Increased requirements for calcium and vitamin-D3 during pregnancy and lactation
  • Caution for possible teratogenic effects and overdoses of vitamin-D 3 in pregnant women
  • Passage of vitamin-D 3 and its metabolites into breast milk

Precautions & Warnings

  • Careful supervision for patients with mild to moderate renal failure or mild hypercalciuria
  • Periodic checks of plasma calcium levels and urinary calcium excretion
  • Monitoring serum and urinary calcium levels and kidney function during long-term treatment
  • Allowances for supplements from other sources

Overdose Effects

  • Symptoms of overdosage including nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, dry mouth, loss of appetite, stomach cramps, headache, and constipation
