Composition
- 600 mg elemental Calcium (Calcium Carbonate)
- 200 IU Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol)
- 40 mg Magnesium Oxide
- 1.8 mg Manganese (Manganese Sulfate Monohydrate)
- 1 mg Copper (Cupric Oxide)
- 250 mcg Boron (Boron Citrate)
- 7.5 mg Zinc (Zinc Oxide)
Pharmacology

Dosage & Administration
- Adult: 1 film-coated tablet twice daily
- Best taken with or just after main meals
- Children 3-7 years: 1 effervescent tablet daily
- Children 7 years and older: 1-2 effervescent tablets daily
Interaction
- Risk of hypercalcemia with thiazide diuretics
- Avoiding hypocalcemia in digitalized patients
- Reduced absorption of calcium with certain foods
- Effects of phenytoin, barbiturates, glucocorticoids on Vitamin D3
- Interactions with digitalis, thyroxin, bisphosphonates, antibiotics, and iron
Contraindications
- Absolute contraindications for hypercalcaemia, severe renal failure
- Relative contraindications for prolonged immobilization, renal stones, severe hypercalciuria
Side Effects
- Gastro-intestinal disturbances
- Skin rash
- Hypercalciuria and rare cases of hypercalcaemia with long-term high doses
Pregnancy & Lactation
- Increased requirements for calcium and vitamin D3
- Need for physician supervision during pregnancy and lactation
- Potential teratogenic effects of vitamin D3 overdoses
Precautions & Warnings
- Supervision for patients with renal failure or hypercalciuria
- Periodic checks of plasma calcium levels and urinary calcium excretion
- Monitoring serum and urinary calcium levels and kidney function with long-term treatment
