Dosage
- Child under 10 kg: 5 ml 2 times daily
- Child between 10-30 kg: 10 ml 1-3 times daily
- Adults and child over 30 kg: 20 ml 1-3 times daily
- Most effective if taken 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals
Administration
- Dispersible tablet administration method: Place tablet in a teaspoon, Add water, Let tablet dissolve completely, Give entire spoonful solution
Interaction
- Concomitant intake of tetracycline and zinc may decrease absorption
- Concomitant administration of zinc and quinolone drug may decrease absorption
- Concomitant intake of penicillamine and zinc may decrease absorption
