Dosage

  • Child under 10 kg: 5 ml 2 times daily after food
  • Child between 10-30 kg: 10 ml 1-3 times daily after food
  • Adults and child over 30 kg: 20 ml 1-3 times daily after food
  • Most effective if taken 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals

Administration

  • Dispersible tablet administration: Place tablet in a teaspoon, add water, let tablet dissolve completely, give entire spoonful solution

Interaction

  • Concomitant intake of tetracycline and zinc may decrease absorption
  • Concomitant administration of zinc and quinolone drug may decrease absorption
  • Concomitant intake of penicillamine and zinc may decrease zinc absorption

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation
