Description
- A syrup and tablet combination designed for the treatment and prevention of zinc and vitamin B deficiencies
Composition
- Thiamine Hydrochloride BP 5 mg
- Riboflavin-5-Phosphate Sodium BP 2.74 mg equivalent to Riboflavin 2 mg
- Pyridoxine Hydrochloride BP 2 mg
- Nicotinamide BP 20 mg
- Zinc Sulfate Monohydrate USP 27.45 mg equivalent to elemental Zinc 10 mg
Dosage & Administration
- Adults: 10 ml (2 teaspoonful) 2 to 3 times daily
- Children: 10 ml (2 teaspoonful) 1 to 3 times daily
- Infants: 5 ml (1 teaspoonful) 1 to 2 times daily
Interaction
- Concomitant intake of tetracyclines and zinc may decrease the absorption and serum levels of tetracyclines
- Co-administration of pyridoxine with phenytoin may decrease serum levels of phenytoin
Contraindications
- Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients

Precautions & Warnings
- Dosage adjustment needed in acute renal failure
- Not intended for the treatment of severe specific deficiencies
Overdose Effects
- In case of overdosage, epigastric pain, diarrhea, and vomiting may occur
- One should seek emergency medical attention
- Emetic should be given and then gastric lavage and general supportive measures should be employed

Dosage
