Indications

Composition
- Sodium Chloride BP 1.30 gm
- Potassium Chloride BP 0.75 gm
- Trisodium Citrate Dihydrate BP 1.45 gm
- Glucose Anhydrous BP 6.75 gm
Pharmacology
Oral rehydration salt composed of glucose, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, and sodium citrate
Dosage
- Children < 2 years: 50-100 mL after each loose stool or vomiting
- Children 2-10 years: 100-200 mL after each loose stool or vomiting
- Adults and children > 10 years: 200-400 mL after each loose stool or vomiting
Administration
- Disperse sachet in 500 mL of pure drinking water
- Do not mix with hot water
- Discard unused solution after 12 hours

Precautions & Warnings
- Depressed renal function may need parenteral fluids supplementation
- Severe continuing diarrhea may need parenteral fluids supplementation
