Description
Visral is an antispasmodic drug used to reduce muscle spasm in the intestine, biliary system, bladder, and uterus. It is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of pain related to functional disorders of the digestive tract and biliary system. It is also used for the treatment of spasm and pain in urological and gynaecological diseases.
DosageAndAdministration
- Adult: 2-6 tablets or 3-9 teaspoonfuls syrup daily
- Children: 3 ml/kg or 6 mg/kg daily
- Injection: 1 Tiemonium Methylsulphate Injection 3 times daily
- Suppository: 20 mg suppository two or three times daily
Interaction
Should not be used with other drugs without prior consultation with a physician
Contraindications
Should not be used in urethroprostatic disorders involving a risk of urine retention or in patients at risk of angle closure glaucoma

May cause hypotension and tachycardia in certain individuals
