Dosage & Administration
- Administered 15-30 minutes before meals
- Adult oral dose: 10-20 mg every 6-8 hours
- Maximum adult dose: 80 mg daily
- Children's oral dose: 2-4 ml suspension/10 kg body weight every 6-8 hours
- Infant oral dose: 0.4-0.8 ml pediatric drops/10 kg body weight every 6-8 hours
- Acute nausea and vomiting adult dose: 20 mg every 6-8 hours
- Acute nausea and vomiting children's dose: 0.2-0.4 mg/kg body weight every 6-8 hours
- Rectal suppository dose: 30-60 mg every 4-8 hours
- Maximum rectal dose for children: 30 mg for those weighing 10 to 25 kg
- Maximum treatment period: 12 weeks

- Anticholinergic drug interaction
- Antacids and antisecretory drug interaction

Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to the drug
