Should be taken on an empty stomach
Interaction
- Avoid high doses with NSAIDs
- Increased toxicity with certain drugs
- Hepatotoxicity risk with sulfasalazine
- Exercise caution with cisplatin

- Alcoholism or alcoholic liver disease
- Immunodeficiency syndromes
- Pre-existing blood dyscrasias
- Hypersensitivity to methotrexate
- Pregnant women with psoriasis or rheumatoid arthritis
