Indications

Description
- Belongs to the pyrrolo-pyrrole group of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
- Chemical name: 5 benzoyle-2,3-dihydro-1H-pyrroligine-1-carboxylic acid, compound with 2 - amino-2-(hydroxymethyl)-1,3-propanediol (1:1)
- Inhibits synthesis of prostaglandins
- Biological activity associated with S-form
- Linear pharmacokinetic property
- Highly protein bound
- Metabolized in the liver
- Excretion in the urine
Pharmacology
- Potent analgesic of NSAIDs
- Inhibits cyclooxygenase enzyme system
- Minimal anti-inflammatory effect at analgesic dose

Interaction
