Pharmacology
- Inhibits cyclooxygenase enzyme system
- Inhibits prostaglandin synthesis
- Minimal anti-inflammatory effect at analgesic dose
Dosage & Administration
- Recommended tablet dose: 10 mg every 4-6 hours
- Short-term use up to 7 days
- Not recommended for chronic use
- Injection can be administered as single or multiple doses
- Onset of analgesic effect within 30 minutes
- Maximum analgesic effect in 1-2 hours
- Duration of analgesic effect: 4-6 hours

Interaction
- Increased side effects with other NSAIDs or aspirin
