Indications

Pharmacology
- Potent analgesic
- Inhibition of cyclooxygenase enzyme system
- Minimal anti-inflammatory effect at analgesic dose
Dosage & Administration
- Tablet: Recommended dose of 10 mg every 4-6 hours for short-term use
- Injection: Recommended for management of moderately severe, acute pain on a regular or when necessary schedule
- Eye Drops: Recommended dosage of 1 drop in each eye 4 times daily
Interaction
- Enhanced side effects with other NSAIDs or aspirin
- Enhanced anti-coagulant effect with anti-coagulants
- Reduced anti-hypertensive effect with beta blockers
- Increased risk of renal impairment with ACE inhibitors
- Enhanced toxicity of methotrexate
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to Ketorolac or other NSAIDs
- Children under 16 years of age
- Prophylactic analgesic before surgery

Precautions & Warnings
- Caution in patients over 65 years
- Caution in patients with active or suspected peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, asthma, and liver dysfunction
- Immediate discontinuation in case of corneal epithelial breakdown
- Avoid administering while wearing contact lenses
