Description

  • Indicated for short-term management of moderate to severe acute post-operative pain
  • Relieves pain, inflammation, and light sensitivity after ocular surgery
  • Decreases eye inflammation or redness caused by seasonal allergies
  • Belongs to the pyrrolo-pyrrole group of NSAIDs
  • Inhibits prostaglandin synthesis
  • Highly protein bound
  • Metabolized in the liver
  • Excreted in the urine
  • Minimal anti-inflammatory effect at its analgesic dose

Dosage & Administration

  • Tablet form: Recommended dose of 10 mg every 4-6 hours for up to 7 days
  • Injection form: Single or multiple doses for postoperative pain management
  • Eye Drops: 1 drop in each eye 4 times daily
  • Specific dosages based on age, renal function, and body weight
  • Maximum daily doses for different patient populations
