Indications
- Treatment of increased tone of skeletal muscles due to organic neurological disorders
- Treatment of muscular spasm
- Treatment of vascular diseases
- Treatment of post-thrombotic venous and lymphatic circulation disorders
Pharmacology
Centrally acting muscle relaxant for elevated muscle tone and tension, and for circulation problems in the extremities
Dosage & Administration
- Adult dosage: 50-150 mg three times daily
- Children dosage (3 months to 6 years): 5 mg/kg/day
- Children dosage (6 to 14 years): 2-4 mg/kg/day
Interaction
Concomitant use of methocarbamol with Myolax has been reported to cause disturbance of visual accommodation
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to any component of the product
- Myasthenia gravis
- Nursing mother
Side Effects
- Muscular weakness
- Headache
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Hypersensitivity reactions (itching, redness of the skin, skin rash)
Pregnancy & Lactation
- Use in pregnancy according to physician's advice
- Not to be used during breastfeeding
Precautions & Warnings
Closely observe the prescribed dose and duration of treatment in children
