Description
Domstal 10 mg Tablet is a dopamine antagonist medication used to treat dyspeptic symptom complex, acute nausea and vomiting, Parkinson's disease, and for speeding barium transit in radiological studies. It enhances gastrointestinal motility and regulation of gastric emptying.

Technical specifications
- Dosage: 10-20 mg for adults, 2-4 ml/10 kg body weight for children, every 6-8 hours daily
- Maximum Dose: 80 mg daily for adults, 30 mg rectally for children weighing 10 to 25 kg
- Administration: Oral, 15-30 minutes before meals
- Interaction: Anticholinergic drugs may antagonize its effect, CYP3A4 inhibitors may increase plasma levels, may influence absorption of concomitantly orally administered drugs
- Contraindications: Hypersensitivity, neonates, gastrointestinal hemorrhage, mechanical obstruction or perforation, prolactin releasing pituitary tumor
- Side Effects: Rare intestinal cramps, extrapyramidal phenomena, increase in plasma prolactin level, rare allergic reactions like rash and urticaria
