Dosage & Administration

Tamsulosin Hydrochloride 0.4 mg daily
Increased dosage after 2 to 4 weeks if necessary
Administration after meal at night
Swallowing whole with water

Interaction

Concurrent administration of other alfa1-adrenoceptor antagonists
No interactions with atenolol, enalapril, or nifedipine
Cimetidine and frusemide effects on plasma levels
No hepatic metabolism interactions with specific drugs
Increase in elimination rate with diclofenac and warfarin
