Description

Dosage Instructions
- Intravenous infusion starting at 1 mU per minute
- Dosage can be doubled every 30-45 minutes
- Threshold generally below 10 mU per minute
Interaction
- Potential hypertension with vasoconstrictor administration
- Cardiovascular effects with cyclopropane anesthesia
Contraindications
- Cephalo-pelvic disproportion
- Severe toxaemia
- Hypertonic uterine dysfunction
- Total placenta previa
