  • Indications:
    • Allergic non-infectious blepharitis and conjunctivitis
    • Non-infectious keratitis
    • Inflammation of the anterior uvea
  • Pharmacology:
    • Cortisone derivative
    • Anti-inflammatory activity
    • Therapeutic concentrations in cornea and aqueous humor
  • Dosage & Administration:
    • Instill 1 drop into the conjunctival sac 3-5 times per day
    • Apply a small amount into the conjunctival sac 3-4 times per day
  • Interaction:
    • Specific drug interaction studies not conducted
  • Contraindications:
    • Injuries and ulcerating processes of the cornea
    • Purulent infections of the conjunctiva and eyelids
    • Tuberculosis, mycosis, glaucoma
  • Side Effects:
    • Reversible rise in intraocular pressure in predisposed patients
  • Pregnancy & Lactation:
    • Potential risk to the fetus
    • Use during pregnancy if potential benefit justifies the risk
  • Precautions & Warnings:
    • Corticosteroids may mask, activate or aggravate an eye infection
    • Do not touch dropper tip to any surface
  • Overdose Effects:
    • Overdose through local or accidental oral administration not likely
  • Storage Conditions:
    • Store at room temperature & protect from light
    • Contents should not be used more than one month after first opening
