Indications

Pharmacology

Dosage & Administration

- Children's oral dosages range from 0.03-0.20mg/kg body weight

Interaction
- Enhanced potassium loss with diuretics
- Impaired glucose tolerance with antidiabetics
- Increased gastro-intestinal ulceration with NSAIDs

Contraindications
- Gastric and duodenal ulcers
- Systemic and ophthalmic fungal infections
- Viral infections such as varicella and herpes genitalis
