- Blepharitis

- Disciform and interstitial keratitis
- Allergic corneal marginal ulcers

Pharmacology
- Dexamethasone decreases inflammation
- Inhibition of leukocyte migration
- Suppression of normal immune response
- Gatifloxacin inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase
- Inhibition of bacterial DNA replication
- Inhibition of bacterial transcription and repair
Dosage & Administration
- Instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac
- 3 to 4 times daily
Contraindications
- Epithelial herpes simplex keratitis
- Vaccinia
- Varicella
- Viral diseases of the conjunctiva and cornea
- Mycobacterial infection of the eye
- Fungal diseases of ocular structures
- Hypersensitivity to any components of the medication
Side Effects
- Mild burning
- Chemosis
- Redness
Pregnancy & Lactation
- Use in pregnancy if benefit justifies potential risk to fetus
- Caution in lactation
Precautions & Warnings
- For ophthalmic use only
- Monitor intraocular pressure if used for 10 days or more
