Indications
- Dyspeptic symptom complex

Pharmacology
- Dopamine antagonist

Dosage & Administration
- Taken 15-30 minutes before meals
- Maximum dose of 80 mg daily
- Different doses for adults and children
- Rectal administration for some cases
Interaction
- Antagonizes antidyspeptic effect of domperidone
- Lower oral bioavailability with antacids
- Inhibitors of CYP3A4 may increase plasma levels
- Does not potentiate action of neuroleptics
- Suppresses unwanted peripheral effects of dopaminergic agonists
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to the drug
