Pharmacology
- Loteprednol - corticosteroid
- Phospholipase A2 inhibitory protein induction
- Prostaglandin and leukotriene biosynthesis control
- Tobramycin - aminoglycoside
- Bactericidal activity
- Inhibition of protein synthesis in bacteria
Dosage & Administration
- Shake well before use
- Apply one drop into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye(s)
- Every four to six hours dosing
- Increased dosing for initial 24 to 48 hours
Interaction
- No effect on plasma pharmacokinetics of systemically administered medicinal products
Contraindications
- Viral diseases of the cornea and conjunctiva
- Hypersensitivity to ingredients
- Hypersensitivity to other corticosteroids
