Indications

Treatment of postoperative inflammation
Reduction of ocular pain
Cataract extraction

Pharmacology

Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID)
Inhibits cyclooxygenase 1 and 2
Blocks prostaglandin synthesis

Dosage & Administration

One drop applied once daily
Begins 1 day prior to cataract surgery
Continued through the first 14 days of the postoperative period

Contraindications

Known hypersensitivity to any ingredients of the formulation
