Indications

Treatment of allergic conjunctivitis

Pharmacology

Potent anti-allergic substance
Non-competitive histamine (H1) receptor blocking property
Inhibition of mediator release
Stabilization of mast cells
Decrease in chemotaxis

Dosage & Administration

Adult dosage: 1 drop in affected eye(s) twice daily
Children 3 years and older: Every 8-12 hours
Maximum dosage: Not more than twice per day
Children under 3 years: Consult with a doctor

Interaction

Interval of at least 5 minutes with other eye medications

Minimal risk of serious signs or symptoms
Oral ingestion equivalent to 60% of recommended oral daily dose
