Pharmacology

Mode of Action

  • Stabilizes mast cells

  • Inhibits release of inflammatory mediators

Pharmacokinetics

  • Absorption within 30 minutes to 1 hour
  • Moderate protein binding at 55%
  • Plasma elimination half-life of 8 to 12 hours
