Pharmacology

Combination of Brimonidine Tartrate & Timolol Maleate
Mechanism of action in decreasing aqueous humor production
Mechanism of action in increasing uveoscleral outflow
Peak ocular hypotensive effect within two hours of administration

Dosage & Administration

Instill 1 drop in affected eye(s) twice daily

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any component of the product
Bronchial asthma
Severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
Sinus bradycardia
Second or third-degree atrioventricular block
Overt cardiac failure

Pregnancy & Lactation

Precautions & Warnings

Absorption of ophthalmic agent systemically
Same cardiovascular and pulmonary adverse reactions as systemic beta-blockers
Cautions in treating patients with severe or unstable cardiovascular or pulmonary diseases

No overall differences in safety or effectiveness between elderly and other adult patients
