Pharmacology
- Hypromellose as ophthalmic lubricant
- Acts as a lubricant and artificial tear
- Treatment of cornea and conjunctiva dehydration
Dosage & Administration
- Individual dosage regimen
- 0.3% Hypromellose - 1 drop 3-5 times/day
- 0.5% Hypromellose - variable dosage, follow physician's directions
- Instill 1-2 drops in the conjunctival sac as needed
- Frequency of administration depends on severity
- Average administration 1-3 times daily

- Hypersensitivity to the drug or any ingredient
