Indications

• Lubricant for dry eye
• Relief of ocular irritation
• Prevention of cornea damage
• Temporary relief of burning and irritation
• Protectant against further irritation

Pharmacology

• Acts like natural tears
• Provides smoothing relief to dry eyes
• Helps eyes stay moist and healthy
• Protects against further irritation
• Retains moisture on the eye
• Slows evaporation of tear film
• Promotes corneal wetting
• Stabilizes and thickens the precorneal tear film
• Prolongs tear film breakup time
• Lubricates and protects the eye
• Reduces blood viscosity
• Acts as a volume expander in hypovolaemia

Dosage & Administration

• One or two drops three times daily for adults and children
• Or as directed by the physician

Contraindications

• Not for use with soft contact lenses
