Indications
- Relieves eye dryness
- Alleviates eye irritation
- Relieves discomfort from wind or sun exposure
Composition
- Active Substance: Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium USP 10 mg
- Preservative: Purite 0.0075%
Pharmacology
- Acts as an ocular lubricant
- Provides relief for moderate to severe dry eye syndromes
- Offers long-lasting protection against dryness and irritation
- Has a lubricating formulation similar to normal tears
- Utilizes a mild and non-sensitizing preservative
Dosage & Administration
- Instill 1 drop in the affected eye(s) 4 times a day or as needed
Interaction
- Administer different eye medicines with at least 5 minutes interval
Contraindications
- Not to be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to any ingredient
Side Effects
- Burning sensation
- Eye irritation or pruritus
- Visual disturbance
- Ocular discharge
Pregnancy & Lactation
- Safety during pregnancy and lactation not established
- Consult doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding
Precautions & Warnings
- Administer concomitant ocular medication 15 minutes before
- Remove contact lenses before use
- Discard if solution changes color or becomes cloudy
- Avoid container tip contact with surfaces
- Replace cap after each use
Use in Special Populations
- Not for use in infants and small children under 3 years
- No significant differences in safety or effectiveness for elderly patients
Storage Conditions
- Use within 30 days after opening
- Store at temperature not exceeding 30°C
