- Blocks dopamine receptors in the Chemoreceptor Trigger Zone
- Blocks dopamine receptors in the stomach

DosageAndAdministration
- Should be taken 15-30 minutes before meals
- Usual oral dose for adults: 10-20 mg every 6-8 hours daily
- Usual oral dose for children: 2-4 ml suspension/10 kg body weight every 6-8 hours daily
Interaction
- Concomitant administration of anticholinergic drugs may antagonize the antidyspeptic effect of domperidone

- Known hypersensitivity to the drug

- Gastrointestinal hemorrhage
- Mechanical obstruction or perforation
- Prolactin releasing pituitary tumor (prolactinoma)
