Mode of Action
- Ergotamine: alpha-adrenergic blocker with a stimulating effect on peripheral and cranial blood vessels
- Caffeine: cranial vasoconstrictor

Contraindications
- Potent inhibitors of CYP3A4 and protease inhibitors
- Hyperthyroidism
- Renal or hepatic impairment
- Pre-existing vascular disease
- Sepsis
- Pregnancy and lactation

Precautions & Warnings

- Contraindicated in patients with renal dysfunction
