Description

Dosage Instructions

  • Taken 15-30 minutes before meals
  • Usual recommended oral dose for adults: 10-20 mg every 6-8 hours
  • Maximum dose for adults: 80 mg daily
  • Recommended dosage for children based on body weight

Interaction

  • Contraindicated with anticholinergic drugs
  • Should not be given simultaneously with antacids and antisecretory drugs
  • Metabolized through CYP3A4 pathway
  • Inhibitors of CYP3A4 may increase plasma levels of domperidone
