Indications
- Treatment of premature ejaculation

Dosage & Administration
- Recommended starting dose of 30 mg for adult men
- Maximum recommended dose of 60 mg
- May be taken with or without food
- Not recommended for use in individuals below 18 years of age
- Caution advised in patients with renal impairment
- Contraindicated in patients with moderate and severe hepatic impairment
Interaction
- Caution advised in combination with CNS active medicinal products
- Prescribed with caution in patients who use PDE5 inhibitors
- Use with Tamsulosin and Warfarin
- Concomitant use of alcohol may increase chance or severity of adverse reactions
Contraindications
- Known hypersensitivity to Dapoxetine Hydrochloride
- Significant pathological cardiac conditions
- Concomitant treatment with MAOIs, thioridazine, or within 14 days of discontinuing treatment with MAOIs, thioridazine
- Concomitant treatment with serotonin reuptake inhibitors or other medicinal/herbal products with serotonergic effects or within 14 days of discontinuing treatment

Precautions & Warnings

- Orthostatic hypotension
- Caution in patients with a history of bleeding or coagulation disorders
- Pharmacokinetics when combined with Tadalafil and Sildenafil
- Prescribed with caution in patients who use alpha adrenergic receptor antagonists
Overdose Effects
- No reported case of overdose
- Non-unexpected adverse events in a clinical pharmacology study
- Symptoms of overdose with SSRIs
