Pharmacology
- Contains magaldrate
- Hydroxymagnesium aluminate complex
- Rapid conversion in gastric acid
- Provides sustained antacid effect
Dosage & Administration
- Tablet form
- Dosage: 1-3 tablets
- Recommended to take after meals
- Recommended to take at bedtime
- Syrup form
- Dosage: 2-3 teaspoonful
- Frequency: 3-4 times daily
- Recommended to take half to one hour after or before meal
- Recommended to take at bedtime
Contraindications
- Known hypersensitivity to magnesium
- Known hypersensitivity to aluminium
- Impaired renal function
