Pharmacology
- Potent inhibitor of neuronal norepinephrine and serotonin reuptake
Dosage
- Recommended dose: 100 mg/day (50 mg twice daily)

Administration
- Should be taken with food

Interaction
- Increased risk of bleeding with certain drugs
- Increased risk of CNS effects with centrally-acting drugs
- May inhibit antihypertensive effect of clonidine
- Potentiate adverse haemodynamic effects with digoxin
Contraindications
- Uncontrolled narrow-angle glaucoma
- Concomitant use with MAOI or within 2 weeks after withdrawal of MAOI
