Pharmacology
Histamine H2-receptor antagonist, inhibits gastric acid secretion
Dosage & Administration
- Usual dose for adults: Famotidine 20 mg twice daily
- Usual dosage for acute gastritis, chronic gastritis: Famotidine 20 mg twice daily
- Dosage for Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease(GERD) based on age and weight
