Indications
- Treatment of chronic hepatitis C (CHC) infection
- Efficacy established in subjects with HCV genotype 1, 2, 3 or 4 infection
- Treatment of HCV/HIV-1 co-infection
- Dependent on viral genotype and patient population
Pharmacology
- Nucleotide analog inhibitor
- Inhibition of HCV NS5B RNA-dependent RNA polymerase

- Prevention of HCV viral replication
Dosage & Administration
- One 400 mg tablet daily
- Can be used in combination with Ribavirin or Pegylated Interferon and Ribavirin

Interaction
- Reduced therapeutic effect with P-gp inducers
- Potential for serious symptomatic bradycardia with amiodarone co-administration

Contraindications

Side Effects
