Dosage Instructions
- 150 mg twice daily for duodenal and gastric ulcer
- 300 mg at bedtime for Reflux oesophagitis
- 150 mg 3 times daily for Zollinger Ellison syndrome
Recommended Dosage for Children
- 2-4 mg/kg twice daily, maximum 300 mg daily

Pharmacology
- Competitively blocks histamine at H2-receptors
- Inhibits gastric acid secretion
Interaction
- Delayed absorption with propantheline bromide
- Minimally inhibits hepatic metabolism of certain drugs
