Indications
- Improve glycemic control in adults with type 1 diabetes mellitus
- Improve glycemic control in children with type 1 diabetes mellitus
- Improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus
Composition
- Each ml suspension contains Insulin Aspart (rDNA) 100 units
- Equaivalent to 3.5 mg as 30% soluble Insulin Aspart and 70% Insulin Aspart Protamine suspension
Pharmacology
- Contains 30% soluble Insulin Aspart
- Contains 70% Insulin Aspart Protamine crystals
- Blood glucose lowering agent
- Earlier onset and intermediate duration of action
- Produced by recombinant DNA technology utilizing Saccharomyces cerevisiae (baker’s yeast)
