Indications
- Treatment of elevated intraocular pressure
- Ocular hypertension treatment
- Open-angle glaucoma treatment
Pharmacology
- Inhibition of carbonic anhydrase
- Reduction in intraocular pressure
- Decrease in aqueous humor secretion
Dosage & Administration
- Shake well before use
- 1 drop in affected eye(s) three times daily
- Concomitant use with other topical ophthalmic products
- Pediatric dosage: one drop in the affected eye(s) 2 times daily
- Geriatric use observation
Interaction
- Rare instances of drug interactions with high-dose salicylate therapy

- Hypersensitivity to any component of the product

- Fatalities due to severe reactions to sulfonamides including Stevens-Johnson syndrome
- Zolopt excretion mainly by the kidney
- Not recommended in renal impairment patients
- Caution in hepatic impairment patients
