Indications

Non-steroidal drug with anti-inflammatory properties
Potent inhibitor of cyclooxygenase enzyme
Rapid and complete absorption after oral administration

Dosage & Administration

Extended release tablet: Recommended dose of 200 mg daily for adults
Film coated tablet: Recommended dose of 100 mg twice daily for adults

Interaction

No significant drug interactions observed
Close monitoring required when used with lithium and digoxin
May interact with diuretics
May enhance the activity of anticoagulants
May increase the plasma level of methotrexate

Contraindications

Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Aceclofenac
Contraindicated in patients with aspirin or NSAIDs triggered asthma attacks
