Indications
- Relief of pain and inflammation in osteoarthritis
- Relief of pain and inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis
- Relief of pain and inflammation in ankylosing spondylitis
- Relief of pain and inflammation in toothache
- Relief of pain and inflammation in trauma
- Relief of pain and inflammation in lumbago
Pharmacology
- Non-steroidal drug with anti-inflammatory properties
- Potent inhibitor of the enzyme cyclooxygenase
Dosage & Administration
- Recommended dose: one 200 mg extended-release Aceclofenac tablet daily for adults
- Recommended dose: 100 mg film-coated tablet twice daily for adults
Interaction
- Close monitoring required when used with lithium and digoxin
- Interaction with diuretics may occur
- Enhanced activity of anticoagulant may occur
- Increased plasma level of methotrexate may occur
Contraindications
- Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity
- Contraindicated in patients in whom aspirin or NSAIDs precipitate attacks of asthma

- Non-steroidal drug with anti-inflammatory properties
Pregnancy & Lactation
- Use should be avoided in pregnancy and lactation unless benefits outweigh risks
Precautions & Warnings
- Caution in patients with active or suspected peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding
- Caution in patients with moderate to severe hepatic impairment
- Caution in patients with cardiac or renal impairment
- Caution in patients suffering from dizziness or urticaria

- No clinical data on the use of Intas in children
