Indications

Pharmacology
- Non-steroidal drug with anti-inflammatory properties
- Potent inhibitor of cyclooxygenase enzyme
- Involved in the production of prostaglandin
- Rapid and complete absorption after oral administration
Dosage & Administration
- Recommended dose of 200mg Aceclofenac extended-release tablet daily for adults
- Recommended dose of 100mg Aceclofenac film-coated tablet twice daily for adults
Interaction
- No significant drug interactions observed
- Close monitoring when used with lithium and digoxin
- Close monitoring when used with diuretics
- Close monitoring when used with anticoagulants
- Increase in plasma level of methotrexate when used with methotrexate
Contraindications
- Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity
- Contraindicated in patients in whom aspirin or NSAIDs precipitate asthma attacks

- Avoid use in pregnancy and lactation unless benefits outweigh risks
Precautions & Warnings

- Exercise caution in patients with cardiac or renal impairment
- Exercise caution in patients suffering from dizziness or urticaria
