Pharmacology
- Non-systemic acid neutralizing substances
- Antiflatulent
- Relief of ulcer by neutralizing gastric acid
- Antifoam properties
- Physiologically inert
Dosage & Administration
- Tablet: 1-2 tablets 1-3 hours after meal and at bedtime
- Suspension: 1-2 teaspoonful 1-3 hours after meal and at bedtime
Interaction
- May increase or decrease absorption of oral drugs
- Decrease bioavailability of certain drugs

- Renal failure
- Hypophosphataemia
