Interaction
- Enhancement of anticoagulant effect
- Interaction with oral hypoglycemic agents
- Inhibition of uricosuric effect of probenecid
- Increased toxicity of sulphonamides
- Precipitation of bronchospasm or induction of asthma attacks
Contraindications
- Contraindicated for children less than 12 years (Reye's syndrome)
- Contraindicated in breast-feeding
- Contraindicated in active peptic ulcer
- Contraindicated in bleeding due to haemophilia
- Contraindicated in intracranial haemorrhage and other ulceration

- Mild side effects including nausea

- Avoid use during last 3 months of pregnancy
- Caution during lactation due to penetration into breast milk

- Gross overdosage may lead to CNS depression with coma
