Administration Steps

  • Take off the cap
  • Shake the inhaler vigorously before each use
  • Breathe out fully and hold the inhaler upright
  • Place the actuator into mouth, close lips around the mouthpiece
  • Press down firmly on the canister while breathing deeply
  • Hold breath for at least 10 seconds
  • Wait 1 minute between puffs if prescribed
  • Rinse the mouth after each treatment
  • Clean the inhaler at least once a week
