Indications

- Dosage Form:
- Inhaler

- Recommended Dose:
- 1 puff twice daily
- 2 puffs once daily
- 2 puffs twice daily
- 1-2 puffs once or twice daily
- Maintenance dose: twice daily
- Reliever dose: as needed in response to symptoms
- Maximum Daily Dose:
- Not more than 6 puffs
- Not more than 4 puffs
- Not more than 8 Inhalation Capsule

Interaction
- Potential Interactions:
- Strong cytochrome P450 3A4 inhibitors
- Monoamine oxidase inhibitors and tricyclic antidepressants
- Beta-blockers
- Diuretics
Contraindications
- Primary treatment of status asthmaticus or other acute episodes of asthma or COPD
- Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients

Pregnancy & Lactation
- Caution in Pregnancy:
- No clinical data on exposed pregnancies
- Adverse effects in reproduction studies at very high systemic exposure levels
- Budesonide excreted in breast milk
Precautions & Warnings
- Caution for Patients with:
- Diabetes mellitus
- Thyrotoxicosis
- Untreated hypokalaemia
- Severe hypertension
- Severe cardiovascular disorders
Use in Special Populations
- Regular monitoring of height in children receiving prolonged treatment with inhaled corticosteroids
Overdose Effects
- Symptoms:
- Tremor
- Headache
- Palpitations
- Tachycardia
- Hyperglycaemia
- Nausea and vomiting
- Treatment: Supportive and symptomatic treatment
Storage Conditions
- Instructions:
- Do not swallow Inhalation capsules
- Keep away from light and wet place
- Store at or below 25°C
- Remove Inhalation capsule from the blister pack only immediately before use
