Dosage & Administration

  • Calcium 500 mg and Vitamin D3 200 IU Tablet: 2 tablets daily or 1 tablet twice daily with or after a meal
  • Calcium 500 mg and Vitamin D3 400 IU Tablet: 1 tablet twice daily with or after a meal

Interaction

  • Interacts with calcium, aluminium or magnesium containing antacids
  • Interacts with calcitriol & other vitamin D3 supplements
  • Interacts with digoxin
  • Interacts with tetracycline, doxycycline, minocycline or oxytetracycline

Contraindications

  • Contraindicated in hypercalcaemia
  • Contraindicated in hyperthyroidism
  • Contraindicated in renal calculi
  • Contraindicated in nephrolithiasis
  • Contraindicated in Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome
