Dosage & Administration
- Calcium Orotate 400 mg: 2-3 tablets daily with meals or as directed

Interaction
- Decreases absorption of biphosphonates, quinolone antibiotics, tetracycline antibiotics, levothyroxine, phenytoin, and tiludronate disodium
- Increased risks with thiazide-type diuretics
- Aluminum- and magnesium-containing antacids increase urinary calcium excretion
- Decreased absorption with mineral oil and stimulant laxatives
- Calcium depletion with glucocorticoids
- Reduced calcium with oral contraceptives and estrogen compounds
- Calcium depletion with anti-inflammatories and corticosteroids

- Incomplete or infrequent bowel movements
- Kidney stone

- High urinary or blood calcium levels
- Extreme loss of body water
